Meadow's Spirit Cat Rescue (MSCR) was established in January 2003 by Kim Kean, founder and president.  It is named after a beautiful, black cat named Meadow who was homeless and lost her life at a shelter.

MSCR is made up entirely of volunteers and has one goal - to save the lives of cats.  Hopeless cases are given hope and cats doomed at shelters are rescued and new homes found, regardless of how long it takes.

MSCR is a NJ non-profit corporation.  IRS 501(c)(3) status is pending.
