Our adoptable cats are either in foster care or housed at the Luv-a-Pet adoption center at the Petsmart Store,  Consumer Square, Mays Landing, NJ.  Adoption hours are Monday to Friday 6 to 9pm.  Saturday from 11am to 1:30pm and again at 6 to 9pm.  Sunday from noon to 4pm.  Cats currently in foster care can be seen by appointment.  Send us an e-mail at MeadowsSpirit@aol.com and you will be contacted to set up a convenient time.

MSCR Adoption Application

An application must be approved by a MSCR representative.  The donation to adopt a cat is $75.00 and $100.00 for purebreeds and exotics.  This includes spay/neutering, vaccinations, de-worming, FELV/FIV testing, and microchipping when available.  There may be an additional charge of $20.00 for special needs cats such as FIV positive ones to offset the cost of a Vitamin/Mineral and Lysine Supplement which is included with the adoption. As of March 2007, a FREE vet visit is included with each adoption by Dr. Suzanna Brown, D.V.M. at BEST FRIENDS VETERINARY HOSPITAL, Festival at Hamilton Shopping Center, Mays Landing, NJ  08330  609-625-7922.  The FREE vet visit must be used within 2 months of the adoption and is for the office visit only.  Visit Dr. Browns website:  www.bestfriendsvet.net 

Homeowners need proof such as a deed, tax bill or mortgage payment book.  Renters need a lease clearly indicating cats are welcome or a letter from the landlord including their name and phone number.  All leases/letters from landlord will be verified.  A valid driver's license is also needed with the correct address on it.  Additional information may also be required at the discretion of a MSCR representative.
